Val Thorens -
Val Thorens, highest ski resort in Europe at 2300 m altitude is also the summit of the 3 Vallées, whose culminating point is the "Epaule du Bouchet" at 3230 metres. Les 3 Vallées, largest ski area in the world, offer you an exceptional range of landscapes and a great diversity of skiing, with - among others - very easy links between the different resorts. Thus, anyone can ski the 3 Vallées. And concerning off-piste possibilities, there's just no limit...
Val Thorens offers exceptional snow quality and breath-taking sceneries with 8 skiable peaks or passes over 3000 m high. From the "Cime de Caron" among others, you have a direct access to the largest panoramic scenery in the Alps: more than 1000 peaks are in front of you.
This snow, soft, light and generous, is enjoyable for all types of skiers and particularly for families as it makes skiing more enjoyable and even easier on a well-tended skiing area, adapted to all ski levels : very easy around the resort , average or difficult on the summits. Confirmed skiers or snowboarders, will be able to mark their own path in the innumerable fiels of powder snow.
Skiing more than 6 months a year : Fall skiing on the Péclet glacier from November 1st (according to snow conditions), winter skiing from December till March, spring skiing from April till mid Mai.
